The U.S. Census Bureau has released the 2023 Business Dynamics Statistics (BDS), offering updated data on business activity across the United States. The BDS provides annual figures related to job creation and loss, as well as statistics on the opening and closing of businesses and firms, covering trends from 1978 through 2023.

According to the announcement, users can access this data through multiple platforms, including the BDS website, the Census API, and BDS Explorer. The explorer tool allows users to visualize the dataset using line charts, bar charts, and thematic maps. Its dashboard is designed for easy comparison and organization of business dynamics measures.

To find out more about these resources or use them for analysis, individuals are encouraged to visit both the BDS main page and BDS Explorer.
