The Texas Department of Insurance announced on Mar. 9 that it is inviting Texans to share their ideas for improving home and auto insurance through its Speak Up, Texas! initiative.

The agency said it will use the feedback collected from the public to recommend changes aimed at strengthening insurance coverage in the state. Texans are encouraged to submit their suggestions online at www.tdi.texas.gov/speakuptexas.

“We want to hear your ideas for making insurance coverage clearer and more affordable. Your ideas shape how we protect Texas consumers,” said TDI Commissioner Amanda Crawford.

For those with questions about insurance, the department offers assistance through its Help Line at 800-252-3439. Additionally, individuals who need to file a complaint can visit the Get help with an insurance complaint page on the department’s website.

A short “Speak Up, Texas!” public service announcement is also available for sharing on social media and online platforms, aiming to further encourage community participation in this effort.

By seeking direct input from residents, the Texas Department of Insurance aims to ensure that future policy recommendations reflect the needs and concerns of consumers across the state.
