Texas Children’s Hospital patient Jarvis was chosen to lead the parade at the Houston Texans Kids’ Day football game on December 14. Earlier this year, Jarvis experienced a severe heatstroke that resulted in him spending nine days in a coma. He received treatment and underwent an extended recovery at Texas Children’s Hospital.

After his recovery, Jarvis expressed optimism about returning to football and pursuing his ambition of playing in the NFL. His story was featured by ABC 13, highlighting his experience and recovery journey.

“He’s looking forward to getting back on the football field and back to his dreams of playing in the NFL,” according to ABC 13.

The event provided an opportunity for Jarvis to participate publicly following his hospitalization and drew attention to both his personal resilience and the care he received at Texas Children’s Hospital.
