Fox 26 recently highlighted the case of Brooks, a baby whose life was saved by a new in-utero cardiac procedure available exclusively at Texas Children’s Hospital. According to the report, Brooks is now healthy and developing well.

The story featured Dr. Betul Yilmaz, who serves as medical director of fetal cardiology at Texas Children’s. She appeared with Brooks’ family at the Fox 26 studio to discuss the innovative heart procedure that made a difference in his outcome.

Texas Children’s Hospital remains the only facility offering this particular in-utero cardiac intervention, according to the broadcast.
