Patients at Texas Children’s Hospital participated in a Halloween event that included various crafts and activities. Children and their families engaged in pumpkin painting and tote bag stamping as part of the festivities. Costumes were provided through the Spirit of Children Campaign, allowing kids to dress up even though they could not go outside to trick-or-treat.

A hospital spokesperson said, “From pumpkin painting to tote bag stamping, kids picked out costumes donated through the Spirit of Children Campaign bringing the Halloween magic indoors for those who can’t go outdoors to trick or treat.”

The event aimed to bring a sense of normalcy and celebration to young patients spending Halloween at the hospital.
