Unicorns, monsters, and a life-sized banana were among the costumes seen at Texas Children’s Hospital during a Halloween celebration. The event offered games and treats for patients and their families who are unable to participate in traditional trick-or-treating outside the hospital. The activities provided an opportunity for children to enjoy Halloween festivities within the hospital setting.

Families participated in various games and received goodies as part of the event. The celebration was designed to bring some normalcy and enjoyment to young patients spending Halloween in the hospital.

“We wanted to make sure that even though these kids can’t go out for trick-or-treating, they still get to have fun and celebrate Halloween,” said a representative from Texas Children’s Hospital.

The hospital regularly organizes such events to support the emotional well-being of its patients and their families during extended stays.
