Patients at Texas Children’s Hospital met NASA astronaut Marcos Berríos during a special visit. Berríos, who is training as part of the cadet astronaut class for a planned space mission in 2027, spoke with patients about his experiences and answered their questions about life as an astronaut.

The event offered children at the hospital an opportunity to engage directly with a member of NASA’s next generation of astronauts and learn more about space exploration.
