Ivy Geilker has been appointed as a Special Representative for the IAM Healthcare Department, according to an announcement from IAM Union International President Brian Bryant. The appointment took effect on September 1, 2025, and places Geilker under the leadership of IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett.

Geilker has led several organizing campaigns since joining IAM Healthcare as an Associate Organizer. Her efforts have brought pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff at large companies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Safeway Pharmacy into The Pharmacy Guild/IAM.

Before her current role with IAM Healthcare, which began in February 2024, Geilker worked as Senior Lead Organizer with the Colorado State Employees’ Union. In that position, she managed a team responsible for representing workers in various settings including state hospitals and public health departments.

“Ivy’s success in organizing pharmacists and technicians at major corporations has contributed to the IAM’s impressive growth in the healthcare industry,” said IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett. “Her tireless work to build The Pharmacy Guild/IAM has given a voice to hardworking professionals who provide care to our families and communities.”
