Dozens of delegates from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) convened in Atlanta for a conference organized by the Georgia State Council. The council functions as the union’s main group for political advocacy across Georgia.
During the event, IAM members engaged with election candidates to address concerns important to working families before the upcoming midterm elections. The meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the council to promote political involvement among union members and encourage participation in civic activities.
The gathering highlighted the union’s commitment to ensuring that members are informed about key issues affecting their communities and workplaces.
