The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) is accepting registrations for its upcoming Women’s Leadership Program and Advanced Women’s Leadership Program, both scheduled for March 2026 at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland.

The Women’s Leadership Program will take place from March 1 to March 6, 2026. It aims to motivate female union members to become more active within their locals and districts by building leadership abilities and developing skills in organizing, parliamentary procedure, political and legislative involvement, strategic planning, and network building.

For those who have already completed the initial program, the Advanced Women’s Leadership Program will be held from March 15 to March 20, 2026. This advanced session builds on prior learning with a continued focus on leadership development and further enhancement of key skills needed for union activities.

According to the IAM, “Women’s Leadership Programs equip IAM sisters with the tools and confidence needed to lead effectively at every level of the union and to strengthen solidarity across our membership.”

The official call letter provides information on tuition costs, transportation arrangements, curriculum details, and registration procedures. Registration must be submitted through the Departmental Program Registration Form.

The deadline to register for the Women’s Leadership Program is January 21, 2026. The registration deadline for the Advanced Women’s Leadership Program is February 11, 2026.

Members seeking additional information or assistance are encouraged to contact the IAM Women’s & Young Workers Department at 301-967-4747.

IAM encourages eligible members to participate in these programs as a way to build a stronger and more inclusive organization.
