IAM Local SC 711 members at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas have ratified a new three-year collective bargaining agreement with M1 Support Services and its subcontractors. The contract covers workers in 29 skilled trades, including aircraft mechanics, avionics technicians, supply clerks, and librarians.
The agreement, effective January 1, 2026, includes an 11.4% compounded general wage increase over the contract’s duration: 4.5% in the first year, 3.5% in the second year, and 3% in the third year. Other provisions include increased paid leave with eight additional hours of sick leave for all members, a 5% increase in 401(k) contributions, maintenance of the IAM pension plan, an additional $390 per month earned during the contract term, company-covered increases in rehabilitation plans, new on-call and standby pay provisions, and language protecting overtime pay.
“This contract reflects the dedication and unity of our membership at Nellis, and the strength of our union’s voice at the bargaining table,” said IAM Western Territory General Vice President Robert “Bobby” Martinez. “The negotiating committee fought hard to deliver the wages, benefits, and protections our members not only need, but absolutely deserve. I thank the committee for their efforts, our members for standing strong, and IAM Aerospace Coordinator Denise Heath, whose expertise and steady guidance were key to securing this strong agreement.”

IAM Local SC 711 became an independent local in 2016 after previously being part of another amalgamated local located more than 25 miles away. The move allowed them to better address specific member needs and increase participation.
