IAM air traffic controllers from two locals prepare for contract talks with Leidos

IAM negotiations team member Mark Costa, a flight service specialist, has described his work as providing essential weather and safety information to pilots. Costa represents Local 2010 in Reston, Virginia. He stated that his team, along with Local 2011 based in Fort Worth, Texas, is getting ready for contract negotiations with the government contractor Leidos.

According to Costa, “We are preparing for upcoming contract negotiations with Leidos to ensure our members’ needs are met.”

The negotiations will focus on issues affecting air traffic controllers and related specialists represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM).
