Today marks Giving Tuesday, an annual event encouraging charitable donations following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has highlighted Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC) as its preferred charity for the occasion.

GDA | TLC has launched its Holidays of Hope fundraiser, seeking contributions to support its mission. According to the organization, donations made on Giving Tuesday will assist military veterans with PTSD, individuals who are blind or visually impaired, and children with autism by providing them with service dogs.

In a statement from GDA | TLC: “Each donation you make today will directly benefit a military veteran with PTSD, a person who is blind or visually impaired, or a child with autism who needs the life-changing confidence, love, and hope that a service dog provides.”

IAM encourages supporters to consider making a donation to GDA | TLC as part of their Giving Tuesday activities.
