Governor Greg Abbott highlighted the importance of student participation in Turning Point USA (TPUSA) Club America chapters on high school campuses across Texas. During an event, Abbott stated, “There has been no moment in time during the course of this century when there was such an urgency and a need for an organization like TPUSA and Club America. They have helped to restore moral clarity, constitutional principles, and our founding values. I am grateful for the young men and women behind me and their peers across the state for stepping up and identifying themselves as the future leaders of the Lone Star State.”

Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, TPUSA Senior Director Josh Thifault, Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath, and other state and local officials joined Abbott at the event.

Abbott acknowledged Charlie Kirk’s contributions to the conservative movement and his role in expanding its reach among youth nationwide. He also noted that Texas currently has more Club America chapters than any other state. The governor committed to fostering conditions for further growth of these chapters within Texas.

Abbott emphasized that schools obstructing the establishment of a Club America program should be reported to the Texas Education Agency. He said investigations would be initiated by TEA with disciplinary action taken if needed.

Additional photographs from the event are expected to be released later.
