Governor Greg Abbott announced on Mar. 26 the reappointment of Manoranjan “Mano” Mahadeva to the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners for a term ending February 1, 2027. The council is responsible for protecting the health, safety, and welfare of Texans by supporting the licensing and regulation of physical therapy and occupational therapy practitioners, as well as registering facilities that provide these services.
Mahadeva, who resides in Frisco, is the former chief executive officer of Millennium Physician Association. He is affiliated with several professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He has also held leadership roles in local civic groups such as serving as past president for both Plano Metro Rotary Club and Plano Early Lions, and previously chaired Leadership Plano’s board.
