Governor Greg Abbott has reappointed Gwen Griffin to the Texas Space Commission Board of Directors. Her new term will end on February 1, 2031.

Griffin is the chief executive officer of Griffin Communications Group, a company that has provided strategic communications and marketing services for aerospace and technology organizations for three decades. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Space Center Houston, is a trustee of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation, and sits on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the College of Sciences at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Griffin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from UCF.
