Governor Abbott appoints Justin Hewlett to North Texas Tollway Authority board

Governor Greg Abbott has named Justin Hewlett to the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) Board of Directors. Hewlett’s term will last until August 31, 2027. The NTTA Board includes one member appointed by the governor and is responsible for managing tollway operations in Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties.

Hewlett owns Hewlett Office Systems, LLC and has previously served as Mayor of Cleburne. He has also held leadership positions with several organizations, including Chisholm Trail 100 Club, Inc., United Way of Johnson County, Cleburne Education Foundation, and the Cleburne Economic Development Corporation. Hewlett holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.

“I am honored to appoint Justin Hewlett to this important position,” Governor Abbott said. “His experience in business and local government will be valuable to the North Texas Tollway Authority.”
