Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Clinton “Clint” Davis as Judge of the 173rd Judicial District Court in Henderson County. The appointment will last until December 31, 2026, or until a successor is elected and qualified.
Davis is currently serving as the county attorney in Henderson County. He is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the State Bar of Texas, the Federalist Society, and the Henderson County Bar Association. In addition to his legal work, Davis holds leadership roles in community organizations such as Family Circle of Care and Family Peace Project, Inc., and he is also a member of Kiwanis International.
Davis earned his Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Tyler and received his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston.
