The Austin Chamber of Commerce has published its latest Regional Education Outcomes Report, unveiling the findings at its annual State of Talent and Education event. The report measures progress across 10 key indicators that span the education continuum, providing what the Chamber describes as a “cradle-to-career framework” for assessing how well students are being prepared for life and work.
According to the Chamber, education is central to economic mobility and regional prosperity. The organization states its commitment to collaborating with partners in Central Texas to build a strong talent pipeline that meets future workforce needs.
The report was developed in partnership with E3 Alliance, an organization recognized for its work in education data over nearly twenty years. The ten indicators identified in the report cover three major stages of a student’s educational path, offering what the Chamber calls “a comprehensive view of how well our education system supports students from their earliest years through college and into meaningful careers.”
“The Austin Chamber is committed to using this data to drive results, align community partners, and strengthen our region’s talent pipeline. Our goal is simple: ensure that every student in Central Texas can access a high-quality education that prepares them with the skills to be successful in their career,” according to a statement from the organization.
The Chamber emphasizes that making educational data accessible helps business leaders, educators, policymakers, and community members share responsibility for improving student outcomes. “The Regional Education Outcomes Report is more than a snapshot—it’s a roadmap for action. Together, we can use this data to guide decisions, close opportunity gaps, and build a stronger future,” the release concludes.
