Alliance for Retired Americans to hold national meeting in Las Vegas in April

The Alliance for Retired Americans announced on Apr. 2 that it will host its National Membership Meeting and conference from April 27 to 30, 2026, in Las Vegas. The event will mark the organization’s 25th anniversary of activism and is set to take place at the Sahara Hotel.

The meeting aims to bring together retired union workers and labor leaders to strategize, mobilize, and discuss key issues affecting retirees ahead of the upcoming midterm elections. Participants will have opportunities to attend workshops, engage in strategy discussions, and vote on resolutions impacting pensions and retiree rights.

According to the announcement, national officers will be elected during the conference. The event will also feature a Senior Prom Ball and Dinner as part of its program.

Registration for the event costs $150 per person, with hotel accommodations available at a rate of $69 per night. Interested attendees must complete their registration and hotel reservations by Monday, April 6, 2026.

The Alliance for Retired Americans has emphasized that this gathering is an important opportunity for retired union members to organize around critical issues facing their community.
